We have some openings for high school students who would like to attend the SEMINAR music camp this summer at Western Michigan University from July 7-20.  We are able to offer $350 scholarships as well!  We have limited openings for musicians who play the following instruments:

            Bass Clarinet

If you’re not familiar with SEMINAR, it is designed to serve as an enjoyable, pre-college experience for serious young musicians.  It is organized to promote artistic, social, recreational, and cultural interaction among the participating young artists.  In addition to large ensemble experiences, SEMINAR students also benefit from private lessons, chamber ensembles, conducting classes, music theory, and many other offerings taught mainly by WMU faculty.  Recently graduated high school students are also welcome!

To get a more thorough look at what SEMINAR is all about, please go to our website:  http://www.wmich.edu/music-camp/

Although the deadline is listed as March 1, we are now accepting more applications…and as I said, SCHOLARSHIPS!

Please contact our WMU Dir. of Concerts, Kevin West, to make this happen:  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

I would very much appreciate you making this opportunity known to your students!
