Marching Show Shirt Design Contest

The Northville High School Mustang Marching Band is proud to present the 2026 Marching Band Show Theme, 24K Heroes, including Holding Out For A Hero, The Mandalorian, and 24K Magic.

Our tradition is that YOU the students design, submit, and vote on shirt designs specific to each year’s marching band show. This gives band students an opportunity to show off artistic skills. Once a design is chosen, they will be available to order from Canton Embroidery as short sleeve t-shirts, crewneck sweaters, and hoodies. They are optional, but fun to have. The student of the winning design receives two free articles of their choice. Show shirts will be distributed during class and after-school marching band rehearsals.

DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

• All designs MUST be original creations by you. You MAY NOT download images or any material from the internet – that is a copyright violation. Any entries with copyrighted material will be disqualified.
• Custom Ink can be used to create designs since their artwork does not contain copyrighted material; however, a graphics design program is best since it’s creative and unique.
• Limit the design to 2-3 colors to keep costs down.
• The following elements must appear prominently on the front:
  • Northville High School Mustang Marching Band
  • 2026 – 2027
  • 24K Heroes
• The back will include a list of all performances and dates. Artistic elements can be on the back as well, but be sure that there is enough space for all events listed below.
