Our band uses a combination of district- and student-owned uniforms and clothing articles. All students must complete the Band Uniform Agreement each year for district-owned uniforms.
Our Marching Uniforms and Tuxedos are property of Northville Public Schools. Please help keep them in great condition for years to come by following the Uniform Care and Wear Instructions. These instructions and detailed descriptions of uniforms and attire are located in the band packet.
Marching Shoes (all) & Tuxedo Shirts (Symphonic Band 11/12, Jazz Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble) will be fitted and ordered at NHS during band camp. These will be distributed at NHS in the band room. You will pay for those via the band RevTrak along with the other band fees.
All students must purchase a Band Polo if they do not have one or if a replacement is needed. Other clothing articles that students must provide for themselves are black dress pants, black belt, and long crew-length black socks. Band Polos must be tucked in for all performances with the exception of the Independence Day Parade. Spirit Wear such as “Halftime is Gametime” Band Shirts and Marching Band Show Shirts are optional.
Other required student-owned uniform pieces and optional spirit wear for Percussion and Color Guard will be purchased directly through our band shop at Canton Embroidery at the links below. Captains and Instructors will notify their sections what is required and optional.
All Canton Embroidery items are made after the online store closes; they are NOT made right when ordered. Mr. Kollipara will pick them up in bulk at one time and bring to NHS for distribution.
