Week of April 15

PARENTS: We are in need of bus/festival chaperones and tuxedo return volunteers! Please sign up via SignUp Genius.

  • Symphonic Band 9/10 reports to NHS in Band Polo at 2:45 PM, performs at 5:55 PM, and is estimated to return to NHS by 8:00 PM.
  • Symphonic Band 11/12 reports to NHS in Tuxedo at 5:45 PM, performs at 8:25 PM, and is estimated to return to NHS by 10:20 PM.
  • Students are bussed to and from festival. Percussion and larger instruments are transported via the trailer (goes with SB 9/10 and returns with SB 11/12). All other instruments are taken on the buses.
  • Students are responsible for ensuring that the instrument(s)/equipment they specifically use are loaded/unloaded from the trailer/buses and safely transported to/from festival.
  • State Band Festival is required and graded for all band students.
  • With the exception of Jazz Ensemble members (tuxedos needed for summer performances), ALL STUDENTS MUST TURN IN THEIR TUXEDOS ON THIS DAY, NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • If you are unable to bring it, you are responsible for having a friend/parent bring it during these time ranges.
  • SENIORS: Any missing uniform pieces will result in your graduation cap/gown and diploma being held until you return the pieces or pay the necessary fees.

  • Music Boosters Meeting @ 7:00 PM in the back room of the Northville Sports Den.
  • Percussion Ensemble Rehearsal @ 7:30 – 8:20 AM.
  • Mean Girls Pit Orchestra Rehearsal @ 2:30 – 4:30 PM.
  • Percussion Ensemble Rehearsal @ 7:30 – 8:20 AM.
  • Mean Girls Pit Orchestra Rehearsal @ 3:30 – 5:30 PM.

  • WED. MAY 22 – Band Awards Banquet
  • FRI. MAY 24 – Jazz Ensemble Concert in Downtown Northville
  • MON. MAY 27 – Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony
  • MAY 28 – JUN. 4 – Band Leadership Clinics & Audition (6/4)
  • SUN. JUN. 2 – Graduation Band at Class of 2024 Commencement
  • THU. JUL. 4 – Independence Day Parade

  • Upcoming Boosters meetings are at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 16 at the Northville Sports Den and Tuesday, May 14 (location TBD). Any and all parents are welcome to attend.
  • Designate the Boosters to earn money when you shop at Kroger and Busch’s.

  • Show Shirts can be purchased from Adam – email kolliparaad@northvilleschools.org to order T-shirts ($25), crewnecks ($40), and hoodies ($55).
  • Available inventory:
