Volunteer to help with our Band Events, as well as Music Boosters Raffle Ticket sales at Band, Choir, and Orchestra concerts.

Share Raffle and Sponsorship information with family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and any others to help support our Award-Winning Music Department.


This Week’s Schedule

  • Jazz Ensemble Rehearsal @ 2:30 – 3:30 PM. Students not enrolled in 1B Jazz Ensemble are welcome to perform with Jazz Ensemble only if after-school rehearsals are attended. See the Band Calendar for the full rehearsal schedule.
  • Marching Uniform Return @ 7:30 – 8:30 AM and 2:20 – 4:00 PM.
    • KEEP: Polos, Tuxedo Shirts & Bowties, Gloves, Marching Shoes. These are STUDENT-OWNED articles that are used from year to year. Email Mr. Kollipara if you need replacements.
    • RETURN: Jacket ($200), Bibbers ($90), Shako ($50), Shako Box ($10), Plume ($20), Plume Holder ($5), Black Hanger ($5), Garment Bag ($10), Color Guard Tunic ($80). Replacement fees are listed for each article if not returned. These are DISTRICT-OWNED articles that are redistributed each marching season.
    • ALL STUDENTS MUST RETURN ALL DISTRICT-OWNED MARCHING UNIFORM ARTICLES THIS DAY ONLY.
    • If you are unable to return your uniform on this day, you must send your uniform with a fellow bandmate to turn it in for you.
    • If your uniform is not turned in during these times, are responsible for personally paying for dry cleaning fees and/or paying to replace missing or paying to repair damaged articles. NO EXCEPTIONS.
    • SENIORS: Any missing articles or unpaid fees for missing/damaged articles will result in your graduation cap, gown, and diploma being held. You will be unable to participate in the graduation ceremony on Sunday, May 31, 2026 if articles are not returned or fees are not paid.
  • Tuxedo Fittings & Distribution during 4A Symphonic Band 11/12 class.
  • Jazz Ensemble Rehearsal @ 2:30 – 3:30 PM. Students not enrolled in 1B Jazz Ensemble are welcome to perform with Jazz Ensemble only if after-school rehearsals are attended. See the Band Calendar for the full rehearsal schedule.
  • Music Boosters Meeting at 7:00 – 8:30 PM in Orchestra/Ensemble Room 132.
  • NO SCHOOL due to inclement weather. Today’s Tuxedo Fittings & Distribution and Full Orchestra Rehearsal have been rescheduled to this Friday.
  • Music Leadership Workshop in Orchestra/Ensemble Room 132 @ 6:00 – 7:00 AM (before school). These optional workshops held on Thursday mornings are open to all NHS music students, regardless of holding any sort of leadership position in band, choir, or orchestra. These are led by Mrs. Ray-Hepp. Please contact her with any questions about these workshops.

  • Tuxedo Fittings & Distribution during 3B Symphonic Band 11/12 class.
  • Full Orchestra Rehearsal @ 3:00 – 4:30 PM. Note the extended time since this is the final rehearsal before the Holiday Concerts. These rehearsals are only for Symphony Orchestra and select Winds/Percussion from Band, and are required rehearsals for these members (see roster posted outside Band Room).
  • Drumline Performance @ 5:00 – 7:30 PM for the Boy’s Home Hockey Game. Report to Novi Ice Arena at 4:30 PM.
