Thank you to all who participated in MSBOA State Solo & Ensemble at Churchill on Saturday, March 16!
For those who have been selected to be in the pit orchestra for the NHS Drama Club’s Spring Musical Production of Mean Girls, there will be after-school pit orchestra rehearsals in the band room at 3:30 – 4:30 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays beginning this week.

MONDAY, MARCH 18: After-School Rehearsals
- Jazz Ensemble Rehearsal @ 2:30 – 3:30 PM.
- Mean Girls Pit Orchestra Rehearsal @ 3:30 – 4:30 PM.
TUESDAY, MARCH 19: Hillside Band Visit & After-School Rehearsals
- Hillside 8th Grade Band Visit during 4A SB 11/12. All leadership report to band room by 12:00 PM. Anyone who would like to join that is not in 4A SB 11/12 must get permission from their 4A teacher.
- Jazz Ensemble Rehearsal @ 2:30 – 3:30 PM.
- Mean Girls Pit Orchestra Rehearsal @ 3:30 – 4:30 PM.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 20: Boosters Meeting CANCELLED
THURSDAY, MARCH 21: After-School Rehearsals

MARCH 23 – 31: Spring Break
- Classes and after-school rehearsals resume on Monday, April 1.

- Students are bussed to and from festival. All instruments are transported on the bus.
- State Jazz Festival is a required and graded performance for Jazz Ensemble members.

- Upcoming Boosters meetings are on Tuesday, April 16 and Tuesday, May 14. Time and location TBD. Any and all parents are welcome to attend.
