Congratulations on excellent performances at the Pre-Festival Celebration Concerts and District Solo & Ensemble!
The Hillside Band 8 Visit is during 4A band on Tuesday, February 11. Bring your marching music and instruments this day as well. If you are not in 4A band and would like to attend, you must get permission from your 4A teacher. Meads Mill Band 8 will visit during 4A band on Monday, March 3.
District Band Festival is Saturday, March 8 at Wayne Memorial High School. From NHS, students are bussed to and from festival. Symphonic Band 9/10 reports to NHS in Summer Uniform at 6:45 AM, performs at 9:55 AM, and is expected to return to NHS by ~12:00 PM. Symphonic Band 11/12 reports to NHS in Tuxedo at 9:45 AM, performs at 12:20 PM, and is expected to return to NHS by ~2:20 PM.
State Jazz Festival is Wednesday, March 19 at Jackson High School. The Jazz Ensemble performs at 8:30 PM. From NHS, students are bussed to and from festival. More details about report times, etc., are forthcoming.
