2026 Band Camp is Wednesday, August 12 – Thursday, August 27.
The 2026 Band Camp Schedule and 2026/27 Band Packet are linked below. Note that there are staggered Band Camp start dates/times during the first week of Band Camp for different groups/sections, such as Leadership, Percussion/Sousaphones/Color Guard, Freshmen/New Students, and Returning Students. The schedule in the packet states the groups/sections and times they are to report to the NHS Band Room on specific dates/times.
The 2025/26 NHS Jazz Ensemble has been invited to perform at the Detroit Jazz Festival on Sunday, September 6, 2026!
The performance will be in the Gretchen C. Valade Jazz Center @ 1:00 PM. More details will be shared once they are provided to the Band Directors.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12: Band Camp for All Leadership, Percussion, Sousaphones, and Color Guard, Marching Uniform Fittings for Leadership
- Leadership: Report to Band Room @ 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
- Marching Uniform Fittings for Leadership during Band Camp (AM only) – complete Band Uniform Agreement if you have not done so already.
- All New and Returning Percussion, Sousaphones, and Color Guard: Report to Band Room @ 1:00 – 3:00 PM.
- Percussion Auditions for Freshmen & New Students: Report to Band Room @ 1:00 PM. Pickup students @ 3:00 PM.
THURSDAY, AUGUST 13: Band Camp for Sections/Grades Listed Below, Marching Uniform Fittings for Freshmen & New Students
- Leadership and all Percussion, Sousaphones, Color Guard, Freshmen, and New Students report to Band Room @ 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Marching Uniform Fittings for Freshmen & New Students during Band Camp (AM & PM) – complete Band Uniform Agreement if you have not done so already.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 14: Band Camp for ALL Students, Marching Uniform Fittings, Band Parent Meeting
- All Students report to Band Room for Band Camp @ 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Marching Uniform Fittings during Band Camp (AM & PM) – complete Band Uniform Agreement if you have not done so already.
- MANDATORY Band Parent Information Meeting (parents from ALL grades) in Band Room @ 7:00 PM – SLIDESHOW.

NHS MUSIC BOOSTERS
- The NHS Music Boosters Board position for President for the 2026/27 school year is open. Contact Mr. Kollipara if interested.
- Designate the Boosters to earn money when you shop at Kroger and Busch’s. These programs require an annual renewal.
