2026 Band Camp is Wednesday, August 12 – Thursday, August 27.

The 2025/26 NHS Jazz Ensemble has been invited to perform at the Detroit Jazz Festival on Sunday, September 6, 2026!
The performance will be in the Gretchen C. Valade Jazz Center. We have not been informed of a performance time. More details will be shared once they are provided to the band directors.
This Week’s Schedule
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12: Band Camp for All Leadership, Percussion, Sousaphones, and Color Guard
- Leadership: Report to Band Room @ 9 AM – 3 PM.
- Marching Uniform Fittings during Band Camp (AM only) – complete Band Uniform Agreement if you have not done so already.
- All New and Returning Percussion, Sousaphones, and Color Guard: Report to Band Room @ 1 – 3 PM.
- Percussion Auditions for Freshmen and New Students: Report to Band Room @ 1 PM. Pickup students @ 3 PM.
THURSDAY, AUGUST 13: Band Camp @ 9 AM – 5 PM for Sections/Grades Listed Below, Marching Uniform Fittings
- Leadership and all Percussion, Sousaphones, Color Guard, Freshmen, and New Students report to Band Room @ 9 AM.
- Marching Uniform Fittings during Band Camp (AM & PM) – complete Band Uniform Agreement if you have not done so already.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 14: Band Camp @ 9 AM – 5 PM for ALL Students, Marching Uniform Fittings, Band Parent Meeting
- All Students report to Band Room for Band Camp @ 9 AM.
- Marching Uniform Fittings during Band Camp (AM & PM) – complete Band Uniform Agreement if you have not done so already.
- MANDATORY Band Parent Information Meeting (parents from ALL grades) in Band Room @ 7 PM – SLIDESHOW.

NHS MUSIC BOOSTERS
- The NHS Music Boosters Board position for President for the 2026/27 school year is open. Contact Mr. Kollipara if interested.
- Designate the Boosters to earn money when you shop at Kroger and Busch’s. These programs require an annual renewal.
