The NHS Music Boosters will meet at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2025 in the NHS Ensemble/Orchestra Room 132. Any band, choir, and orchestra parents are encouraged to join Music Boosters Meetings. Visit the NHS Music Boosters website for more information about the Boosters and activities.

The Mustang Marching Band will participate in Homecoming Parade at 6:00 PM on Friday, October 3. The parade begins at the Northville Public Schools Board Office (NOT the Library parking lot; NO parking, staging, or dropoff allowed in the Library parking lot) and ends at the 8 Mile Stadium. You can view the 2025 Homecoming Parade Route here.

The Mustang Marching Band will take the field at pre-game at 6:40 PM with a performance of their 2025 Marching Show entitled “Rock of Ages.” The Northville High School Varsity Football Team will then face off the Canton Cobras at 7:00 PM. At halftime, the Homecoming Court will be presented, preluded by the Mustang Marching Band. At the end of the game, the band will wrap up the evening with popular tunes followed by the Drumline Feature.

VARSITY FOOTBALL – NORTHVILLE VS. BRIGHTON

The Northville Mustang Pep Band will bring the hype to Northville Varsity Football as they take on the Brighton Bulldogs!

The Mustang Marching Band will participate in Northville’s Victorian Parade at 6:30 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025. The parade begins at the Cady & Griswold intersection, by the Tipping Point Theatre. The parade route is below. The Northville High School Varsity Football Team will face off the Salem Rocks at the 8 Mile Stadium. The Mustang Marching Band will take the field at halftime (no pre-game performance due to Victorian Parade), presenting their 2025 Marching Show entitled “Rock of Ages.” At the end of the game, the band will wrap up the evening with popular tunes.

VARSITY FOOTBALL – NORTHVILLE VS. HOWELL

Our 40+ member Pep Band will bring the hype to Northville Varsity Football as they take on the Howell Highlanders!

The Northville High School Varsity Football Team will face off the Plymouth Wildcats at the 8 Mile Stadium. The Mustang Marching Band will take the field at pre-game with a performance of the Washington Post March while in the “Block N” formation, as well as a selection of popular tunes. At halftime, the band presents their 2025 Marching Show entitled “Rock of Ages.” At the end of the game, the band will wrap up the evening with more popular tunes.

The State Champion 2024-2025 NHS Jazz Ensemble has been invited to perform at the 46th Annual Detroit Jazz Festival! The DJF is the largest free jazz festival in the world. We have performed at this festival since its founding over 45 years ago, longer than any professional or amateur band in the history of the festival.

Jazz Ensemble performs at 2:00 – 2:30 PM indoors at the Gretchen C. Valade Jazz Center in Downtown Detroit. View the program book and full lineup on the DJF website. Students will either need to drive themselves, have parents transport them, or carpool with others. There are no buses or trucks/trailer from NHS to Downtown Detroit. The closest parking to the Valade Jazz Center are the surface parking lots or Structure 8. The following parking instructions are listed in the DJF website FAQs:

• Parking near the Gretchen C. Valade Jazz Center on Wayne State University Campus: 91 W. Forest between Woodward and Cass, adjacent to Studio One Apartments and University Towers, also known as the Forest Structure.

Welcome to the 2025-2026 Northville High School Mustang Marching Band!

Thoroughly review the 2025-2026 Band Packet which includes the schedule for the entire year as well as important information about every band event. We look forward to seeing everyone on their first scheduled day of Band Camp!

The NHS Mustang Marching Band will participate in the Independence Day Parade. ALL BAND MEMBERS, including graduated seniors, participate in this special performance. The band will perform A Salute to Freedom, You’re a Grand Old Flag, and God Bless America while marching the parade.

From the Northville Chamber of Commerce: Hundreds of parade participants march through Downtown Northville, while thousands of spectators line the streets. The Northville Independence Day Parade features bands, floats, professional team mascots, antique cars, and more. Join us on July 4th, as we celebrate the country from sea to shining sea.
