Tuxedo jackets and pants must be returned by ALL students who were issued a tuxedo (except for Jazz Ensemble members) on this day to the band parent volunteers either in seminar from 7:30 – 8:30 AM or after-school from 2:30 – 4:30 PM. You keep your tuxedo shirt and bowtie since those are student-owned uniform pieces.
If you cannot return your tuxedo during these times, you are responsible for having a parent or fellow band student return it for you during these times. DO NOT drop off your tuxedo in the band/uniform room or elsewhere: it must be physically handed to the band parent volunteers and checked-in by Mrs. Ryan.
If your tuxedo is not returned during these times, you are responsible for paying to have it PROFESSIONALLY DRY CLEANEDand it must be returned to Mrs. Ryan in the dry cleaner’s plastic garment bag with receipt. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Tuxedo jackets and pants are district-owned uniforms. If one or both are missing, you will be fined for the replacement cost: the jacket is $200 and the pants are $90. Any damages to the tuxedo will be assessed upon return. Seniors who do not return their tuxedos during the return times will not be able to receive their graduation cap, gown, and diploma until the tuxedo is either returned or replacement fees are paid. All other students who do not return their tuxedos will not be able to enter transition day in August until the tuxedo is returned or replacement fee is paid.Any missing marching uniform pieces will result in these same consequences!
Review pages 7 – 9 and 12 of the 2024-2025 Band Packet for the handbook section on uniforms and the uniform agreement that was completed on distribution day. If you have any additional questions that are not addressed here or the packet, please contact Mrs. Ryan at ann.ryan@gmail.com.
