Congratulations to our State Champion NHS Bands & Orchestra for straight First Division Ratings at State Festival!
Tickets are available for purchase via Ludus for the All-Band “All-American” Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
This concert features all NHS Bands. This is a required and graded performance for all band students.
The Band Awards Ceremony & Banquet is on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 @ 6:30 PM. We’re excited to announce the details regarding this special end-of-year event for the band!
The event will begin in the NHS auditorium at 6:30 PM with band awards. After the awards, we will move to the cafeteria, and a catered dinner will be served at 7:30 PM. Our State Champion Jazz Ensemble will perform in the cafeteria after dinner at 8:15 PM.
All who would like the catered dinner must RSVP as soon as possible! Band students and siblings 9 years and under are free of charge; parents/adults and siblings 10 years and over are $25. Anyone is welcome to stay to socialize and enjoy the live music performance!
SENIORS!! We are still missing a few senior photos for the slideshow for our band awards banquet. If you have not sent these yet, please email them to proutyjennifer@gmail.com.
BAND PHOTOS!! We are looking for any general fun photos of our band kids of all grades that you may have taken throughout the year that we can include in the slideshow. These can be emailed to proutyjennifer@gmail.com or submitted to Google Drive here: 2023-2024 Band Photos.

MONDAY, MAY 6: Jazz Rehearsal

TUESDAY, MAY 7: Tuxedo Return & Jazz Rehearsal
- Tuxedo Return @ 7:30 – 8:30 AM and 2:30 – 4:30 PM.

- With the exception of Jazz Ensemble members (tuxedos needed for summer performances), ALL STUDENTS MUST TURN IN THEIR TUXEDOS ON THIS DAY, NO EXCEPTIONS!
- If you are unable to bring it, you are responsible for having a friend/parent bring it during these time ranges. You will keep your tuxedo shirt and bowtie since those are student-owned.
- SENIORS: Any missing uniform pieces will result in your graduation cap, gown, and diploma being held until you return the pieces or pay the necessary fees.
- ALL OTHERS: Any missing uniform pieces will prevent you from entering transition day in August until you return the pieces or pay the necessary fees.

THURSDAY, MAY 9: Percussion Ensemble Octet & Jazz Rehearsals
