Attention Low Brass! NHS Band alumnus and tubist Aaron Luebke has extended an invitation to all trombones, euphoniums, and tubas for MSU “Low Brass Day” on Sunday, October 5. If you would like to participate in this activity, you can register on MSU’s website below.

- Drumline Sectional @ 4:00 – 9:30 PM.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30: Drumline Sectional
- Drumline Sectional @ 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1: After-School Marching Band Rehearsal, Drumline Sectional
- After-School Marching Band Rehearsals are every Wednesday @ 2:30 – 5:00 PM until the final Home Football Game. Bring all Marching Band rehearsal necessities and dress for the weather.
- Drumline Sectional @ 6:00 – 9:30 PM.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2: Music Leadership Workshop (optional), Drumline Sectional
- Music Leadership Workshop in Orchestra/Ensemble Room 132 @ 6:00 – 7:00 AM (before school). These optional workshops held on Thursday mornings are open to all NHS music students, regardless of holding any sort of leadership position in band, choir, or orchestra. These are led by Mrs. Ray-Hepp. Please contact her with any questions about these workshops.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3: Band Performance @ Homecoming Hallway Parade, Pep Rally, Parade, and Home Football Game vs. Canton Cobras
- Marching Band Performance in Hallway Parade: Report to Band Room at 7:50 AM.
- Marching Band & Drumline Performance at Pep Rally: Report to Band Room at 12:10 PM.
- HOMECOMING PARADE ROUTE
- Attire: Marching Uniform – jacket, bibbers, shako, plume, long black socks, marching shoes; be sure to wear at minimum a short sleeve shirt and shorts under the uniform (no tank tops or hoodies).
- Locations: NPS Board Office Parking Lot (no dropoff or staging at Library) / March to 8 Mile Stadium
- Report to NHS (Leadership and Front Ensemble) to Load Trailer: 4:00 PM
- Front Ensemble unloads trailer at Stadium, then reports to parade. Sousaphones and Color Guard transport their own equipment.
- Report to Parade: 5:00 PM
- Parade: 6:00 – 6:30 PM
- Marching Show: 6:40 PM
- Kickoff: 7:00 PM
- Halftime: Homecoming Court
- Post-Game Performance & Drumline Feature
- Front Ensemble, Color Guard, Sousaphones, and Leadership load trailer and unload at NHS.
