MONDAY, OCTOBER 13: Symphonic Band Season Begins
- Bring SYMPHONIC & MARCHING instruments to school!
- Marching instruments will still be needed at school for various rehearsals for upcoming performances (Pep Band, Drumline, possible home playoff football games, Holiday Lighted Parade, Band-O-Rama).
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15: Drumline Sectional
- Drumline Sectional @ 2:30 – 3:30 PM.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 16: Music Leadership Workshop (optional), Music Boosters Meeting; Pep Band Rehearsal
- Music Leadership Workshop in Orchestra/Ensemble Room 132 @ 6:00 – 7:00 AM (before school). These optional workshops held on Thursday mornings are open to all NHS music students, regardless of holding any sort of leadership position in band, choir, or orchestra. These are led by Mrs. Ray-Hepp. Please contact her with any questions about these workshops.
- Pep Band Rehearsal @ 7:30 – 8:20 AM.
- Jazz Ensemble Rehearsal @ 2:30 – 3:30 PM. Students not enrolled in 1B Jazz Ensemble are welcome to perform with Jazz Ensemble if attending after-school rehearsals. See the Band Calendar for the full rehearsal schedule.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17: Drumline @ Hillside Pep Rally; Drumline & Pep Band at Meads Mill Pep Rally; Pep Band Performance at Away Football Game vs. Novi Wildcats; District Solo & Ensemble Registration Deadline
- DRUMLINE @ HILLSIDE PEP RALLY
- Attire: Drumline Hoodie
- Dismissed from 4B: 1:15 PM, then report to Band Room to get drums
- Arrive at Hillside: 1:30 PM
- Performance: 1:45 – 2:00 PM
- At the end of the Hillside performance, go directly to Meads Mill to join Pep Band for the Meads Mill Pep Rally performance.
